"there are some of my dogs STILL at NAFCAC&P, so please spread the word..."

Located at 215 West Market, in New Albany, Indiana, the following dogs of mine are STILL languishing in the shelter. Please adopt them! I'll even babysit for you for FREE when you travel if you rescue one (or two) of my dogs from the New Albany shelter!

Here's who still needs your help:
Loki--why he's not been adopted, I don't know. Loki is smart, affectionate, well behaved and loves everyone he meets. He walks beautifully on leash (with a harness) and can be trusted if left alone in the house while you're at work. Loki gets along with other dogs, cats and he loves kids that are outdoorsy and energetic. If you want to know more about Loki, call me.

Fagin--a very cute, smaller boxer mix (apporx. 40 pounds) with an underbite as prominent as
his charm. Fagin is a fun, smart and impish dog and he, too, can be trusted alone in your home when you're out. He likes to play but he appreciates a cozy bed and a good chewie just as much.
The people at the shelter say Fagin doesn't like being around a bunch of dogs--there is nothing further ffrom the truth. Fagin is a leader and he does beautifully with other dogs, his confidence
is his strong suit and just like with humans, "confident" dogs fill up a room even if it's empty. He would be good with older kids, over 9 years, despite the fact that people of all ages are drawn to him. I just don't know if little ones are his cup of tea full.

Lexi--again, a dog whose personality is as beautiful as her face. One her things is to go off by herself and "play". When all my dogs were living so happily here with me, sometimes Lexi, in the midst of the pack, would pick up one of the hundreds (of torn) toys and trot off from her friends.
Once where she wanted to be, she'd toss her toy into the air, alternating between catching it in her mouth or letting it drop to the ground where she'd again pick it up, toss it...Lexi loves kids, other dogs and a spot of the sofa beside you.

Greta and Garth--brother and sister, not mother and son as NAFCAC&P has said of them (and yes, I told them that G&G were b&s, not m&s but my information seems to be ignored). As far as their age, G&G are about six years old. They came to me as puppies and glommed onto the Duchess, my now dead Bloodhound, choosing her as their surrogate mommy, a role she easily embraced and excelled in. She was a puppy mill bitch I rescued from a life of procreation with Mastiffs. I mean, really...anyway, Greta and Garth are laid back, affectionate and sweet as pie together. Thus they need to be adopted together, please. They're kind of big but when they curl up together, they cuddle close. Very good natured and they only meet a stranger once. Just
easy, happy siblings--at least they were.

Walker--a comedian, a companion and a heck of a dog. Walker is adorable. He thinks he really enjoys riding along on errands but in reality he gets car sick within five minutes of the journey. Otherwise, he just wants to be with you, wherever you are, there he'll go. Walker will be great with older kids because he'll steal food and toys from little ones. I miss Walker--he's a very sweet goofball. I bet he's going crazy at the shelter.

Jones--a handsome, noble, gallant boy. He would be best in a mellow, attentive but not clingy home. Jonesy is one of the best dogs I've ever known. I bet he's really tired of that place, too. A quiet home is the place for Jones. Please.
