"...valentine's day and i miss my dogs..."

Heating my bath water on the stove now as my pj's toss in the camper's little dryer and wondering what I want for dinner. Norman, Franklin and The Daisy's have eaten and are now settling in for the night.

Tonight coming down my drive, my eyes kept looking for my dogs that I used to have,
more out of habit than expectation but for some reason tonight I'm missing them all, more than usual...for Valentine's Day I want my life with my dogs back but I'm never, ever going to get back what we all had.
