Yesterday at court, my life was once again put on the block for inspection with the judge telling me that I can only have FOUR dogs here at my long established dog sanctuary. Any more than FOUR will be confiscated by animal control (and as we all know how kill happy Floyd County animal control is when it comes to my dogs, i.e., the killing of 25 illegally seized healthy dogs of mine this past January) on Tuesday next, September 21.

Please, please! I need foster homes for SIX dogs within the next six days.

All my dogs are spayed or neutered, vaccinated, house trained and lovely, sweet creatures that are being used as pawns in this county's vendetta against my alternative yet community oriented home, work and life.

I'm looking for a buyer for my land. For the most part, Floyd County has been good to me. The few government bullies, seemingly including the judicial branches of my county, that want me out of here are only hurting the animals currently in my care. I can move on, start over and be bigger and better than ever. I'll show them all by outshining, outdistancing and out thinking all the little minds I've been forced to be in the same room with since January. I'm one of those people who takes adversity and abuse and makes it into something positive, beautiful and far reaching with good will. Mark my words, I'll come out smelling like a rose and the animals that I continue to rescue will be the true beneficiaries as I channel my anxiety and reappropriated rage to create a fortress of safety and dignity that works for animals, not filling the coffers of the local government.
